Your team is all about...

In team Quantitative Research, we focus on different business analysis and quantitative research, as the team supports business growth and development of both current and new markets. As an Intern in team QR, you will have a lot of freedom with responsibility as you will be a valued contributor in deciding which analysis to conduct to create the highest value for our company.


What to expect

In close collaboration with your colleagues in the team, you will run quantitative analysis, market research, and data collection to support the development of new business and market areas. Furthermore, you will work closely with our Traders to assist with the optimisation of our current trading models.


All in all, the most important thing for us is that you get an exciting internship experience where you will have a varied and educational workday in our informal environment. You..

  • study a Master’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or similar and have an interest in the financial markets.
  • are passionate about statistics, quantitative analysis, and programming.
  • are business oriented, have an analytical mindset, and you are ready to take initiative and ownership.

Your team will be there to support you, so do not worry if your experience with programming in Python is not top-notch, mostly important is that you possess an interest in programming and quantitative research and an eagerness to learn.

Please submit your application, grades, and additional papers as soon as possible. Expected start is August/September 2023, but we are flexible for the right candidate. Your internship will run for about five months at our office in the heart of Aarhus.

What can a day look like as an Intern in team QR
?

08.00: You enter the office, grab a cup of coffee, and structure today’s work.

08.30: Attend the daily team meeting where we discuss our current tasks and projects.

08.45: You continue working on your model, identifying trading patterns in American IPOs.

12.00: It’s lunch time! Afterwards, you discuss what you have been working on with the rest of the team to get inputs.

13.00: In between working on your model, you run into colleagues at the coffee machine and chat about the latest Student and Intern event or the upcoming Friday bar.

14.30: You present your model for the US trading team, and you receive feedback on your work.

16.00: The day has come to an end, and you take notes on what to remember for tomorrow’s workday.
